                                               Marshall Ould

22 Hinderwell Lane, Runswick Bay, Saltburn, Cleveland, TS13 5HR.

Marshall Ould is a self taught artist who has developed his own style in both oil and watercolour through a lifelong love of painting. With encouragement from fellow artist Geoff Birks he had his first exhibition in his Leeds Studio in 1990. He gave up his job in the printing industry where he had been involved in reproducing fine art work to become a full time artist in 1998.

He has painted in many different locations at home and abroad with light and atmosphere always being a source of inspiration. He enjoys travelling, with a large part of his recent work featuring subjects produced on painting holidays in the Far East.

Marshall now lives and works at Runswick Bay, and has paintings exhibited at the Staithes Gallery.

Exhibitions include:

Guild of Waterways Artists; Yorkshire Watercolour Society; Mall Galleries, London; Sunday Times/Singer & Friedlander Watercolour Competition
