Originally from Beverley
and then Hornsea, I moved to Easingwold in 1984.I started painting while
living in Hornsea and was secretary and later vice President of the Hornsea
Art Society. That society was formed by the late prestigious Harry Hudson
Rodmell and whose president is now Colin Verity. Their influence has been a
major influence and inspiration in my work.
My own subjects are the
fast disappearing old villages and towns of this country trying to get a
sense of atmosphere before we become a land of one large piece of concrete.
I also exhibit with
Francis Iles Fine Art in Rochester.
