M. C. Pybus

Born in 1954.Christine left school for a career in communications, whilst taking every opportunity to paint both at evening class and with established artists.

Increasing success with her painting prompted her in 1997 to relinquish her career to paint full time, opening her own gallery in Whitby in 1998 her pictures are almost always completed on location.

She has painted in Britain, Europe, and the Southern Hemisphere.

Other art activities have included talks on art history, and broadcasts for B.B.C. Radio Cleveland.

Christine was elected a member of the Fylingdales Group of Artists in 2000.
